The Carmel Clay Public Library is offering two beginning genealogy classes this fall starting the 2nd week in October. Each class will cover the basics of genealogy research including how to get started, how to organize your information, what kinds of records are available and how to find them. Many resources for genealogists today are online; therefore, a reasonable "comfort level" with computers is helpful.
There are still spaces available in each class. Please register by calling the Carmel Clay Public Library Reference Desk at 844-3362. Priority will be given to Carmel and Clay township residents who have a Carmel Clay Public Library card.
