The average human heart beats around 36 million times per year, and over 2.52 billion times over a 70-year lifespan. Your heart works hard for you, and putting the work into maintaining a healthy heart over a lifetime is vital. Dr. Thomas Schleeter, Cardiologist with St. Vincent Medical Group, will explain what you can do to keep your heart strong. Common cardiac issues, treatments and prevention measures will be discussed and a question and answer period will follow. This program is presented in collaboration with St. Vincent Carmel Hospital and is part of a series of health programs that will continue in March and April. Registration is not required.
