Nemesis
by Nesbo, Jo
Plot/Summary:
Homicide Inspector Harry Hole agrees to have dinner at the
apartment of a former girlfriend. The morning after the
dinner, he wakes up at home with no memory of the evening
and learns that his girlfriend was found shot in her bed.
Before someone places him at her apartment, Harry needs to
find the person behind her death. At work, he is assigned
to the Robbery Squad when a bank robber executes an
employee. He teams up with an investigator who can
remember every face she's seen. During his twin
investigations, Harry plumbs the depths of man's capacity
for revenge and forgiveness.
Comments:
Jo Nesbo's fourth book in the Harry Hole series might be
enjoyed by fans of Steig Larsson or Michael Connelly for
on-the edge-of-your-seat suspense and fine plotting.
Readers who enjoy series should start with
Redbreast. The first two books in the series have
not been published in the United States.
