Plot/Summary:
Journalist Mark Honigsbaum travels to Ecuador on
assignment and while there learns of a legendary Inca
treasure purportedly hidden from the Spanish in the
Llanganatis mountain range in 1533. Captivated by this
legend, Honigsbaum researches the treasure, befriends
modern-day treasure hunters in Ecuador and joins in the
quest for Valverde's gold.

This well-researched book investigates what is believed to
be the world's largest undiscovered treasure. The reader
learns the history of the Inca treasure along with the
author and travels with him on his exciting journey into
the Llanganatis in search of the elusive hoard.

Interesting read
