Series Programs for Young Children
Library Babies
For children ages 0-12 months & their caregivers. Siblings welcome.
Infant storytime involves 20 minutes of interactive rhymes, songs, and stories all specifically chosen to encourage the development of key early literacy skills, with a brief "playtime" afterward to give participants time to visit with each other.
No registration is required.
Little "Ones"
For children ages 12-24 months & their caregivers. Siblings welcome.
Toddlers with a favorite adult will experience the discovery of books. Storytime includes approximately 30 minutes of rhymes, fingerplays, stories, and lots of wiggling, singing, dancing fun. This action packed program encourages the development of early literacy skills and the child's emerging language skills.
No registration is required.
Tales for 2s & 3s
For children ages 2-3 & their caregivers. Siblings welcome.
With their caregivers, children will experience the exhilarating discovery of literature. Picture books, flannel boards, puppets, songs, and fingerplays will bring language and stories to life while focusing on the development of specific early literacy skills.
No registration is required.
Storytime Express
For children ages 2-5 & their caregivers.
Join us for this abbreviated storytime perfect for active children and a great way to kick-start a library visit. During this 20 minute program, children and their caregivers will enjoy a short story or two and a song or fingerplay followed by a simple craft.
No registration is required.
Drop-In Play Date
For infants - preschoolers & their caregivers.
This program is all about interaction and activity. We supply lots of manipulatives including puzzles, blocks, lacing games, and much more along with books, puppets, and assorted other items, all intended to encourage parent-child interaction and enable children to practice new and developing skills. This drop-in program is ideal for children with short attention spans and provides a perfect opportunity for you and your child to meet many new friends.
No registration is required.
Family Films
For children ages 2-5 & their caregivers.
An excellent way to introduce children to a variety of literature and perfect for a family with young children of different ages, these feature films of popular children's stories are short and packed with kid appeal, making them perfect for families or groups with young children. This program lasts approximately a half-hour with generally 2-3 book-based films shown. Families are welcome to stay for all films or come and go as dictated by their child's interest.

Series Programs for Preschool and School-Age Children
Book Buddies
For children ages 4 - Kindergarten.
Come and join the Book Buddies gang for guaranteed fun as we share books and crafts specifically tailored to meet the increasing social and developmental needs of this age group. Children attend this program unaccompanied by adults.

Monday Madness
For children in grades 1-5.
Join us for fun, themed adventures as we connect literature and popular stories to games, crafts, and other activities during this hour-long program geared to meet the expanding social and developmental needs of this age group. Children attend this program unaccompanied by adults.
