Managing Photographic Collections

Learn the proper archival ways to manage your photo collections. Topics to be covered are Photographic Processes and Formats; Archival Basics: Appraisal, Accessioning, Arrangement; Cataloging and Archival Description; Mystery Photo Assessment; Preservation Basics; and Digital Imaging, Duplication, and Copyright. This program will be presented by Joan Hostetler, a photo historian and owner of Heritage Photo and Research Services. Fee: $35.00. This workshop is open to the public but is designed for those working in libraries, museums, and other professional situations. It is presented by the Carmel Clay Historical Society and will be held in the Program Room.
