The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia, and Alzheimer's Disease

This program is designed to educate attendees about the difference between normal memory loss and Alzheimer's disease. Risk factors for Alzheimer's disease, the diagnostic process, and the changes that the brain goes through as the disease progresses are just some of the topics that will be covered. Also featured will be video clips of doctors, patients and loved ones who are caring for people with Alzheimer's. Registration for this program is not required. This program is part of the St. Vincent Carmel Hospital Health Series at the Carmel Clay Public Library and is sponsored by Alzheimer's Association. This program will be held in the Program Room.
