Saturday, April 6, 2013
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
After a presentation on the U.S. Censuses of 1790-1840, tips will be shared on how to make use of these earlier censuses in your research. You will also learn about free content available from Ancestry.com accessible from your home computer. Searches of several components that are part of the Ancestry Library Edition collection will be demonstrated as time allows, including Immigration and Travel, Military, and/or using the Ancestry Card Catalog. There will be time at the end to practice. If you will be attending with a family member or friend, and would be willing to share a computer, please let us know when you register. Registration is required and Clay Township residents will have priority. Others may be put on a waiting list. Please call the Reference Desk at (317) 844-3362 to register. This program will be held in the Computer Training Room.
