Conversations with Our Loved Ones Workshop
Thursday, September 26, 2013
7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Sixty percent of people say that making sure their families are not burdened by tough end-of-life decisions is extremely important. This workshop is designed to help better understand the complexities of care that patients and families face when life is ending, and to help in making the often difficult decisions that accompany this time. At this workshop you will learn the differences between a living will, a health care power of attorney and an advanced directive. You will discuss how planning ahead can affect quality of life. This is a highly interactive program with individual self-assessments. Registration is not required. For more information, please stop by the Reference Desk or call (317) 844-3362. This workshop is sponsored by IU Health and made available through a grant from the Walther Foundation. This program will be held in the Program Room.
