The Bishop's Daughter by Wanda E. Brunstetter This is the third book in a trilogy of Amish characters interacting with "Englishers". The books span a 20-year period, with the common thread involving the kidnapping of an Amish baby and what happens to him during that time. While the story telling can bog down with detailed descriptions of mundane household and farming chores, the human interaction and dialogue rings true and is heartfelt. I was not disappointed.
