Baltimore Blues by Laura Lippman Tess Monaghan strikes again. This was the first Tess Monaghan novel I had read. It is a bit contrived but I still liked it. Tess hope to free Rock from jail where he being held because of a murder. But the only way she can do this is to find the guilty person and she's stumped. Ava, Rock's girlfriend, is two-dimensional and a waste of time. However, Tess uncovers the murderer and Rock is free. The book is fair to good. Add a Comment
