| I just finished reading this book for the first time, and I love it. It was easy to get through in just a couple of days, with all the adventure and likeable characters. Of course, Bilbo Baggins is my favorite, such a great every-man type that has extra courage and wits, kind of like Harry Potter. But Tolkien's writing style I just adore. What detail he adds without making it too boring, and adds humor to most every situation.
