It's always pleasant when a celebrity tells his story without resorting to dishing the dirt on his fellow stars. Not perhaps all that interesting, but still pleasant. Van Dyke is able to discuss his lengthy battle with alcoholism and leaving his wife for another woman without ever making you think of him as anything other than the nice guy he seemed to be on TV.
