| I have enjoyed reading about Michael Feinstein's life and and especially the beginning of the book where the reader learns about his time with Ira Gershwin and the six years he spent with him. THis book touches on his interactions with other notable and famous musicians, some were pleasant experiences, others... well you read it and decide for yourself. We are lucky that Michael felt such a passion to save so much of our early musical history. An interesting read that sometimes made me wish I knew the music of the 20's and 30's better, so I could value his interactions more.
