Documentary Screening and Book Discussion

October 22, 2017
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Come watch the documentary Tapped and stay to discuss it and the book The Big Thirst: The Secret Life and Turbulent Future of Water. Tapped looks at whether access to clean drinking water is a basic human right, or a commodity that should be bought and sold like any other article of commerce. Viewers get a behind-the-scenes look into the unregulated and unseen world of the bottled water industry that aims to privatize and sell back the one resource that ought never to become a commodity: our water.

This program will be held in the Program Room.
