The Carmel Clay Public Library will be presenting a workshop on the Steamworks Challenge, a competition-based robotics game. The TechHounds, Carmel High School's Robotics Team, will be there to help promote this year's library theme: STEAM.

Participants in this highly intensive workshop will explore engineering design process, use of CAD, and electrical and structural engineering. It will follow a process similar to that of how to build a robot eligible for a FIRST competition. While difficult concepts will be presented, no experience will be necessary.

Space is limited to 20 participants. Participants will need to register in advance through the library's Attend calendar. Registration will open on Monday, October 16. All materials will be provided.

If you have questions, please call the Young Adult Services Desk at (317) 814-3983.

Please note: This is a repeat of the October Steamworks Robotic Workshop; therefore, October attendees will not be able to re-enroll. We would like to give new students a chance to attend.

This program is for students in grades 6-8 and will be held in the Program Room.
