Stephen King Movies

One of the modern era's most prolific writers, Stephen King was born Portland, Maine, in 1947. King had a difficult childhood, moving frequently. Eventually he returned to Maine to graduate from the University of Maine and publish his first novel, Carrie, in 1973. Since then King has published more than sixty novels and hundreds of short stories. Many of his popular stories have been made into feature films, television mini-series, and television movies. Here's a sample of some of the most acclaimed King film adaptations.
