Cyber terrorism is a threat to all of us whether we know it or not. It can happen almost anywhere, at any time. Presenter Leo Doyle is the head of the Cyber Defense Force for the city of Indianapolis, part of the IMPD Homeland Security Bureau, and also serves as subject matter expert to the Mayor, Governor, and members of Congress. He will present some recently declassified events and educate you about the dark underbelly of the Internet where there are no rules, no laws, and organized crime and gangs meet to do their business. People don't ordinarily see and can't find this "Deep Web" without special software. Mr. Doyle will also discuss some of the specialized training that he and his team have been through. Finally, he will give tips on how to keep you and your family safer as you use the Internet.
All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a Kindle Fire!
This program will be held in the Program Room on Thursday, September 14 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
