The Sleeping Beauty Killer
The Sleeping Beauty Killer by Mary Higgins Clark (Mystery/Suspense)
Overall good story and quick read. Wrapped up nice. However, too many characters, hard to keep track of them. Not as good as original MHC books, but you will like this book if you are new to Mary HC. Definetly suggest reading her older books, you will really like them! -- Added by Bernadette on 01/25/2017

Word Puppets
Word Puppets by Mary Robinette Kowal (Science Fiction/Fantasy)
Not a fan of science fiction so this was perfect as it is a collection of scifi short stories. First Flight story is about time travel to the Wright Brothers flight. A good story. Many other chapter stories will make you stop and think. I enjoyed this book. -- Added by Bernadette on 01/14/2017

The Queen of the Night
The Queen of the Night by Alexander Chee (Historical Fiction)
This was a good story . Do not get intimidated by the thickness of this book . You will find yourself reading it quickly. Although sometimes it dragged on and sometimes it felt far-fetched, it all came together in the end. It was interesting to read about the opera life which I really knew nothing about. Also having a French dictionary handy enhanced the read. If you like Opera you will recognize some of the storyline. I would rate it a 4 out of 5. -- Added by Bernadette on 01/14/2017

The Dollhouse
The Dollhouse by Fiona Davis (Historical Fiction)
Historical fiction story of some of the residents of the Barbizon Hotel (real building still standing but not as a hotel), in New York City . Enjoyed reading what life might have been like for those ladies in 1950. -- Added by Bernadette on 01/11/2017
